What pets items are, in short
Cosmetic, seasonal, and thinly traded.
Pets do nothing in a round. They follow you about. That is the entire feature, and it is why the market for them is so thin.
Pet demand is thin, so a pet at 60 is harder to move than a godly at 60 even though the calculator calls them equal. If you are gonna trade into pets, do it because you want the pet, not as a store of value.
